Saturday, observe the Citizens of Natstown team fight sleep and each other for
the good of kids everywhere.
It’s that time again,
people! Remember last year when TJ played 24
hours of games, while fitting in an end of the season podcast, for the kids?
Well he decided to get a group together and do it again for even longer! On to
We’re playing video games
to raise money for charity! Specifically, the Children’s National Medical
Center located in Washington, DC. TJ and Matt are going to do a 25 hour stream
from his house!
Saturday, Nov 2 – 8am Sunday, Nov 3
How do I
Go here! Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated!
It’s for the kids!
How do I
The official Citizens
of Natstown stream will be on the home page with a chat available so YOU can
give input on what we should play next. We’ll also put out links to Twitch
streams anytime we’re playing PC games.

you be playing, specifically?
The one thing I know
will take up a few hours is a horror game called Outlast. If you’d like to
several grown men jump and squeal like little girls, THIS will be the time to
watch. Aside from that this will pretty much be a video game potluck. Everybody
will bring something (I happen to know Matt has a number N64 games downloaded
that should be a blast).
stream be archived on Citizens of Natstown?
The Hangout with chat
will definitely be archived on the site. I hope to get the Twitch streams
embedded as well, but I’m not 100% on how that works. Worst case scenario is
that they’ll be archived on Twitch and I’ll put links to those in the main
Extra Life post.
stream my own games and receive donations?
Sure! That’s where the
Citizens of Natstown Extra Life team comes in. Just sign up for an account on Extra Life, tie that
account to the team “Citizens of Natstown,” and start streaming! Let
us know if you’re streaming and we’ll put your links in the Extra Life post as
well! All donations you receive will go to the hospital of your choice, and the
amount you get will be tallied on our team’s total. Last year, TJ raised $211 by himself, but we’ve been hard at
work, and the team has already brought in $575! AND WE HAVEN’T EVEN STARTED!
